Friends,

The last time I shared with you, I tried to address the most common reason why some in the Church have insisted on limiting the role of women within the Body. If you haven’t read that post, you ought to go do so now, in order to avoid circling back to the same arguments surrounding the I Corinthians 14:34-35 passage in the Bible.

TO EAT OR NOT TO EAT….CHICK-FIL-A?

I’m back from vacation and ready to write again. I know I promised to write about the “slippery slope” issue, and I intend to do that, but I thought I’d write a piece first on something that’s happening right now in the church world.

Here are my thoughts on the Chick-Fil-A “crisis.” (I know you’ve been waiting to hear what I think about this.)

First, I want to say a word about Chick-Fil-A and their history as a food provider. I’ve never eaten there, so if you were wondering about my review of their food, you’ll be disappointed.
